Is it normal for 3-year-old baby to wear diapers at night

I have been ,wearing diapers, in lieu of sanitary pads for almost 20 years and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Now, the thought ,of wearing diapers, (baby or adult size) may be an idea quite unsettling because of how hot or icky it may ,feel wearing, it for the whole day. Thing is I don’t ,wear, it the way we usually do: pull up or taped around me.
